Edward Bruce Sharp

Edward “Bruce” Sharp, was born in Camden, NJ, in 1952 and lived most of his life in Harrison Township Gloucester County. He preferred to be called Bruce and was a graduate of Clearview Regional High School. For much of his life he was employed at Delaware Valley Wholesale Florist in Mantua, Gloucester County. Bruce was an avid fan of music, Irish culture and history, but his great passion was the restoration of antique fire engines. His collection included a fire engine once owned by the Pitman Fire Company. Bruce was also a member of the Elks Club of Clayton and past member of the Harmony Fire Department of Mullica Hill. Tragically and suddenly, Bruce passed away at age 61, on July 10, 2013. While not a graduate of Gloucester County, his family desired to have Bruce remembered in Gloucester County and establishes this scholarship in his memory, to provide financial assistance to future students seeking to improve their lives through education.
